Quality, Safety and Environmental Certifications

Quality, Safety and Environmental concerns are currently critical factors for any organisation’s success. As such, Etermar has been developing mechanisms to ensure it meets the most demanding standards, by fostering the implementation of best practices for safety and health at work, as well as every environmental protection rule applicable to its personnel and subcontractors.

Through a constant search for continuous improvement, Etermar has implemented an Integrated Management System (Quality, Safety and Environment) based on standards NP EN ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and NP EN ISO 14001:2015, across all its facilities, delegations, branches and worksites, both in Portugal and abroad.

This Integrated Management System (certified since June 2013), has been certified in 2025 by BV – Bureau Veritas Certification.

Along with the Integrated Management System, Etermar implemented a Safety and Environmental Protection Management System for its vessels and marine activities, thereby complying with the IMS Code - International Safety Management Code.
